Bolster Student Success
We must continue offering top-notch instruction and programs to prepare students for successful career paths. With more than 96,000 students in Katy ISD, the mission is to ensure that each one is well-prepared for their future after graduation, whether they choose college, the military, or the workforce. We should give students opportunities to build skills that will contribute to their success such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation to find solutions for current and future complex issues in our community and on the world stage.

Value and Respect Educators and Staff
Educators and staff are the heart of the district and its award-winning reputation. Our children, their families, and our community will benefit for generations because of the hard work and dedication on campuses throughout each year. To continue to attract and retain world-class educators and staff, they deserve to feel valued, respected, and compensated fairly.
Engage Parents and the Community
The partnership between home and school is key to ensuring academic success and extracurricular opportunities for the students of our district. Parents have rights to be engaged in their child’s education. I will actively seek parent and community input to gain insight into their perspectives. By working together, we can set and accomplish goals that help children reach their full potential.
Prioritize Safe and Secure Schools
Katy ISD has continually improved campus safety measures. I commit to evaluating best practices for safety and security as needs are identified so that our children and staff feel safe in our schools. Another layer of safety and security is the emotional health and well-being of children and the adults who support them. This complex issue must be taken seriously by identifying needs and providing guidance and help.
Ensure Financial Accountability and Transparency
Public schools are primarily funded by our taxpayers. As a public school district, we must be good stewards of those funds. Our parents and community trust that we will make informed, sound decisions that will benefit, first and foremost, the students of our district.
